George Martin Hoffman, 82, of Brookville, PA, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017, at the Penn Highlands Hospital in DuBois, PA. George was born on February 19, 1935 to the late George M. and Edna B. (Siler) Hoffman, in Pittsburgh, PA. George graduated from Slippery Rock High School with the Class of 1953. He went on to work for multiple establishments and industries including Kocher’s Grove City Greenhouse as well as delivering 90 cans of milk daily as a delivery driver for Eppinger Trucking. He went on to hold positions at Youngstown Sheet and Tube, the 7UP Bottling Company and then to Here’s Howe of Grove City where he spent 30 years, retiring as vice president of route sales.
