Robert John Rasavage

Robert John Rasavage, 49, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away during the early morning hours of Saturday, March 2, 2024, while a patient at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA. Robert was born on December 8, 1974, to Raymond R. and Frances (Barletta) Rasavage in DuBois, PA. Robert graduated from DuBois High School with the class of 1994. He was Catholic by faith and was a member of the St. Mary’s Church in Reynoldsville. Robert had an intuitive brain that he used to master tinkering with things such as computers, technological gadgets, small engines, and much more. Anything he could get his hands on, he would not put down until he figured out how it worked in and out. Robert also enjoyed spending time outside, especially when he shared time with his dad hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed music, but most of all, spending time with his family. Robert is survived by his mother; Frances Rasavage; two aunts; Phyllis Rasavage; Mary Simmons; one uncle; Frank (Paula) Rasavage; many cousins, friends; and his beloved cat; Sassy. Robert was preceded in passing by his father; Raymond “Ray” R. Rasavage; and three uncles; Walter Simmons; John Rasavage; and Thomas Rasavage. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, from 9am to 11am at the St. Mary’s Church, 607 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place immediately following the visitation, beginning at 11:00am and officiated by Monsignor Charles Kaza. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, DuBois, Clearfield Co., PA.
