Twila May (Barnett) Greeley, age 90, of Brookville, PA, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, December 10, 2018. She was born on January 12, 1928, to the late Harry and Catherine Elizabeth (Stahlman) Barnett in Limestone Twp., Clarion Co., PA. On June 10, 1948 she married Franklin D. Greeley, who preceded her in death on March 5, 2006. She was raised in the Conifer area. Twila worked for Sylvania in Brookville, PA, but spent most of her life as a homemaker. She was a long-time member of the Roseville Grange. She attended the Zion Methodist Church and the Roseville Independent Chapel. Twila enjoyed quilting. She was a loving, giving, and selfless person. She enjoyed all the simple things in life and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by one daughter; Virginia (Wendell) Rogers; three sons; Kenneth Greeley, Terry (Judy) Greeley, and Frank Greeley; one daughter-in-law; Mona Greeley; fourteen grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and five sisters; Ruth, Jane, Betty, Sally, and Shirley. In addition to her parents and husband, Twila is preceded in death by one son; David Greeley; five brothers, and three sisters. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, December 13, 2018, from 2 – 4pm and 6 – 8pm at the McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home ltd, 345 Main St., Brookville, PA, 15825. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, December 14, 2018, also at the funeral home, beginning at 11:00am and officiated by Reverend Wendell Rogers. Interment will take place at the Zion Methodist Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Twila’s name to the American Cancer Society or to the donor’s choice.
