Inez R. (Guiher) Snyder, age 88, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018, at Christ the King Manor in DuBois, PA. She was born on May 17, 1930 to the late Thomas Roy and Olive Lydia (Kessler) Guiher in DuBois, PA. On July 7, 1947, Inez married Raymond L. Snyder, who preceded her in death in June of 2015. She worked at and retired from Brockway Glass in Brockway, PA. She enjoyed making crafts, ceramics, knitting, crocheting, and even sewing in her spare time. During her stay at Christ the King Manor, Inez enjoyed playing Bingo. She also enjoyed putting puzzles together. She was very outgoing and also outspoken. She loved to sing any kind of music anywhere she could, especially country. Inez loved to go camping with her husband. They went all over the country and even traveled to Canada to camp. Inez is survived by two daughters; Deborah L. (Stewart) Smith of Reynoldsville, PA, and Shelley R. (Bill) Danch of DuBois, PA; four grandchildren; Thomas (Beth) Smith, Melissa (Jason) Hunt, Kemer Danch, and Kayla Danch and Nick; five great-grandchildren; Kadin M. Danch, Olivia Hunt, Mason Hunt, Capri Weyand, and Kylee Danch; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by two grandsons; Kyle Michael Danch, and Michael Raymond Snyder; and twelve siblings; Virginia Sinsabaugh, Ruth M. Shakespeare, Clyde “Pud” Guiher, Zelda Kougher, Roy “Bud” Guiher, Harold O. “Tuffy” Guiher, Chester Guiher, Arthur “Ted” Guiher, Tom Guiher, Max Guiher, and Vernon and Calvin at birth. Family and friends will be received on Monday, December 17, 2018, from 3 – 7pm at the Snyder – d’Argy Funeral Home, 206 E Main St, Reynoldsville, PA 15851. A second viewing will take place on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, from 10 – 11am, also at the funeral home. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 immediately following the second visitation, beginning at 11:00am and officiated by Pastor Bob Cappel. Interment will take place at Lakelawn Memorial Park, Winslow Twp., Jefferson Co., PA. Memorial contributions may be made in Inez’s name to the Reynoldsville Fire Company, Reynoldsville Ambulance, Reynoldsville American Legion, Prospect Cemetery, or to the donor’s choice.
