I was sorry to hear of Mr. Zimmerman's passing. He was my first supervisor at Columbia Gas at Renovo, Pa. He hired me in 1981 and I didn't find out until many years later that he fought the Human Resources director to hire me. I have a copy of his letter. This and his encouragement to get training in my field set me up for a wonderful 35 year career with Columbia Gas. I am forever grateful to Zimmie. He will be missed by me and many other co-workers.
