I met Norma when I served on the pastoral nominating committee when our two yoked churches were searching for a minister. We had such a wonderful time at those meetings. Norma always made me feel so comfortable and a part of everything. She was such a good christian example for me. She love the Lord and seemed to give of herself often. I saw her many times after that at church events and she always made me feel very special. I will missing hearing about her and her special way of making others feel comfortable. She had a great sense of humor and will be missed by many. My heart goes out to her family. God bless. Jo Shaffer

Norma and Alan were family friends of mine. She worked with my Mother at the Brookville Hospital, and was also a dear close friend to my Aunt Sharron. Both her and her husband Alan had come several times to my home for our Christmas Eve family get togethers. They also both came to our house the next day, Christmas Day, to have dinner with both my parents, my brother and I, and my Aunt and Uncle. It was a small dinner because most my family have passed away years prior, so to have them there was such a very very special blessing to my whole family, and they will forever be family to me. Norma was an amazing artist. Her and my Mother would take tips off one another, she would always take a huge interest in what was going on in my life and how my health was because I live with MS-like I was her own. She had an effortless way of making us all feel like we were talented and admired by her, and also very loved. She was without a doubt, a great woman, Mother, friend, and nurse to all people. I'm going to miss sending her letters and cards, and seeing her beautiful smiling face.
My deepest sympathy goes out to all of her family and friends. I know she's not only content to be with Alan again, but I know she's looking down at me now, along side my Aunt Sharron and my Mother Tere. They were three great angels on this earth, and now they're able to surround us all at once and keep us safe and well.
Sincerely, Lesley Byerly of Brookville. PA
